Diploma in Theology

The Diploma in Theology is designed to prepare and equip students for effective Christian ministry by developing a holistic understanding of biblical, theological, and practical aspects of ministry. The program seeks to produce graduates who demonstrate spiritual maturity, ministry competence, and a commitment to Christian service. It is intended for individuals who desire to serve in churches, mission organizations, and other ministry contexts, strengthening them to fulfil a well-rounded graduate profile appropriate to this level of theological education.

Admission to the Diploma in Theology requires the successful completion of ten years of formal schooling, together with some experience in ministry setting. To graduate, students concerned must successfully complete 72 credit units and demonstrate achievement of the program's graduate profile. In addition, students are required to meet established standards in field education and practical ministry involvement, as well as undergo assessments of their character, spiritual development, and ministry capacity.

Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) is an undergraduate degree program designed to prepare students for effective Christian leadership and ministry. The program aims to develop graduates who are capable communicators of the Christian faith and who demonstrate a holistic integration of biblical knowledge, spiritual maturity, ministerial skills, and ethical leadership. Through academic study and practical ministry experience, students are equipped to serve in churches, mission organizations, educational institutions, and other ministry contexts.

Admission to the Bachelor of Theology program normally requires the successful completion of twelve years of schooling or its equivalent, although requirements may vary according to national educational systems. In special circumstances, mature applicants aged twenty-five years and above who have not completed formal schooling may be considered for admission upon successfully meeting a qualifying assessment. Students who already hold a recognized bachelor's degree may apply for advanced standing and receive credit transfer of up to thirty general studies credits, enabling them to complete the Bachelor of Theology through an additional ninety credits of theological studies.

To graduate, students must successfully complete 120 credit units, fulfil field education and practical ministry requirements, and demonstrate satisfactory character formation, spiritual development, and ministry competence.

Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a graduate-level professional degree designed to prepare students for effective leadership and ministry within the Church and related Christian organizations. The program aims to equip graduates to serve as principal ministers, pastors, and Christian leaders by encouraging critical thinking, theological reflection, and dialogical skills. Students are expected to develop the ability to analyze and evaluate theological and ethical discourse, formulate sound biblical and contextual arguments, and communicate ideas effectively in both oral and written forms. The completion of the program signifies the substantial achievement of a holistic graduate profile appropriate for advanced ministerial leadership.

Admission to the Master of Divinity program normally requires the successful completion of a Bachelor's degree. Candidates holding a theological Bachelor's degree, such as a Bachelor of Theology or its equivalent, may be admitted into a 60-credit M.Div. program, while graduates from non-theological disciplines are generally required to complete a 90-credit program. In exceptional circumstances, mature applicants aged 30 years or older who do not possess a Bachelor's degree may be considered for admission upon successfully completing a qualifying assessment demonstrating competency at the Bachelor's level.

To graduate, students must successfully complete the required credit units with a minimum Grade Point Average of B or above, fulfil ministry involvement requirements, and demonstrate satisfactory character and spiritual development.

Elective Courses

In addition to the core curriculum, the College offers a variety of elective courses each semester. Electives provide students with the opportunity to pursue specialized areas of interest, broaden their academic perspectives, and deepen their knowledge in selected fields of theology and ministry. These courses encourage intellectual exploration and enable students to tailor part of their academic experience according to their vocational goals and personal interests.

Soft Skills Development

The College also provides Soft Skills Development courses each semester to enhance students' personal and professional competencies. These courses focus on areas such as communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal relationships, time management, and professional ethics. The objective is to equip students with practical life skills that complement their theological education and prepare them for effective ministry, leadership, and service in diverse contexts.

Through both elective and soft skills courses, students are given opportunities to make informed choices in their learning journey, fostering holistic development in knowledge, character, and ministry effectiveness.
